  • This woman is just plain selfish and nuts...who in their right mind says they're lonely with 6 kids and living at home with your parents? I have two kids, I never feel lonely. If she's lonely....find someone your age to love and marry you.

  • What is really sad and gets me is that a power company installed a device to shut off his power because of overdue payments. No one that age should have their power shut off, especially during the coldest part of the year.

  • I am lucky, my kids LOVE vegetables and fruits. They actually prefer to eat them rather than junk foods. Oh sure, they do have their vices (I do too) but 9 times out of 10, they'll go for the good stuff.

  • To all of you who have posted to this article, I thank you. Your input is always welcome, even if it is something I disagree with. Each of us has something valuable to bring to society, and the more we talk about pertinent issues, the more changes that can be addressed.

  • I was just making a comparison as to what social stigmas were addressed when the movie came out. So many people are uncomfortable when talking about mental and physical disorders, and not talking about things like this are what keeps the populus in the dark.

  • Very well said. Children aren't born bad, they learn just as we did when we were babies. I am happy to see people who are passionate about taking care of those who are our legacies. NO child should be treated like this, even if they lash out at an adult or other child.

  • Thank you for your input. I DO go to school board meetings, PTA meetings and I DO volunteer at my daughter's school. Luckily, here in our small town, we don't have a special needs school that has a seclusion room.

  • Thanks for the link. I read about hormone-laden foods in several articles out of Mother Earth magazines. It just sickens me that so many are not putting two and two together about resistant diseases, and all that has been happening health-wise.

  • I too read this same article from CNN. I wrote about in my LiveJournal blog, and I've had people comment on how they couldn't believe it. It just goes to show how our society is not as advanced and modern as we think it is.
